2019 Sangiovese
Sangiovese derives its name from sanguis Jovis or “blood of Jupiter.” It was first documented in 1590 by Italian Monks and is the most widely planted grape in Italy. Most know it in the form of Chianti. It is celebrated for its flavor diversity and impressive structure that create elegant and exciting wines. Often showing notes of dark cherry, strawberry, tomato and sweet tobacco, this wine pairs with all varieties of pizza, pasta and meats.
